HomeSafe Mission x Chronos Careers Project

HomeSafe Mission has been engaging in many fun and exciting projects this autumn. As we enter the winter months, we want to highlight one of our most rewarding initiatives yet—the partnership with Chronos Careers. Chronos Careers is a student-led project spearheaded by a group of passionate juniors from Bergen County Academies. Their mission is to bridge the gap between aspiring students in Greece and professional opportunities abroad- read more about their inspiring journey here. This past autumn, Chronos Careers successfully connected 11 students from Greece with diverse career interests spanning medicine, finance, engineering, and social work. These students have proven to be an invaluable addition to our HomeSafe team, contributing their unique perspectives and enthusiasm to our ongoing projects. Through this partnership, we have created meaningful opportunities for these students to gain hands-on experience in their respective fields—all while balancing their remote presence in Greece with our hybrid operations in the greater New York City area. Their dedication, creativity, and eagerness to learn have enriched our programs, bringing fresh ideas and an international perspective to our organization. We must say, their presence has been nothing short of inspiring. They have demonstrated remarkable commitment and adaptability, making them a vital part of our mission to support and empower communities.
